A few issues after upgrading Bookshop theme

I just upgraded our Bookshop theme to the latest version 1.0.6 and we are having some display issues.

Top nav and mega Menu not displaying correctly

Your logo is not displaying.
please resize your logo to 152×26 . Currently i see that your logo is 368×77
I have renamed the file /public_html/app/design/frontend/default/default/layout/jmslideshow.xml and your site works fine.

Hi David,
Please go to the file: skin\frontend\default\jm_book\joomlart\jmslideshow\css\jm.slideshow.css at line 104 and add new the code like below:

.jm-mask-desc {
left: 50px !important;
padding: 20px;
z-index: 10;
bottom: auto !important;
top: 0 !important;
display: none !important; <-- add new
}

Thanks Ziven. Worked perfectly.
 
I was also looking to get rid of the 1px border around the slideshow.
Tried to change line below in jm.slideshow.css (line 6) but it did not work. Is this correct location

margin:0;
border: 1px solid #ddd;
border: 0; <-- new code
