I am currently using jm trex theme for my site and trying to implement the multiple store feature in jm trex through admin panel. I have seen the steps to create the multiple store in various site as well as in magento community disscussion forums.
Step1. Creating a Root category.
Step2. Managing stores.
Step3. And then System>Configuration>Web defining the Base URL and other store urls
Step4. Creating a folder with the store name and copying the index.php and .htaccess file in it.
Step5. Editing the index.php
Following the steps of Adding Another Store in Magento from the url

http://inchoo.net/ecommerce/magento/…ws-in-magento/ and also from magento commerce site discussion threads.
After going through all these steps when I enter the Store url it says an error app/Mage.php was not found.
While looking to error problem when I see the include>config.php file every line of the php was commented. None of the line were active. So I thought of removing # from the last two line. After that I got a lot error. Then again I make those line as it were previously.
To find out that whether it was magento problem or joomlart theme problem, I have install the basic magento setup of magento 1.8.1.0 and done all the steps as were said in the url and their was no problem in creating the store.
I have seen various discussion forums regarding this issue but I can not resolve the error occurring.
