To change the categories in the slider, please follow this guide http://www.ubertheme.com/docs/product-slider-v2/
At section 2. Data Settings, you can change the categories by select another one from the list

I cant change category to slider with inline parameters.

You can change the mode=”latest”. That why the product is same.
