I also tried that solution, before my question I searched and I viewed all threads with currency name but no, my problem persists and my cache was cleaned.

I think it is from your setting

I have applied this code to JM tube and saw that it is working fine

Please give us your live url, admin account, ftp account via a ticket, we will check it for you

Now I know what was wrong, I simple define one currency for the store!

You may have two or more currencies and the switcher will appear.

EDIT: and do not modify any file, don´t add above code to directory.xml because, in this theme, switcher will appear twice!
