Customer import will send emails?

Hello,
I am about to begin Step 6 of importing customers from our M1 to M2 site, however before I do so, I just wish to confirm that when they are imported over, that the customers don’t receive any email confirmation of account creation etc. as we do not wish to let our customers know about the new site yet.

Hi there,
You can proceed data migration in Step 6 as normal. Our migration tool simply transfers your M1 data to M2 which is database-to-database only, and does not send any email confirmation as you mentioned.
