I use Fooman surcharge to charge 3% extra costs for PayPal and Credit card payments. That works ok with standard Magento luma theme. But with megamall if I choose paypal as payment option or credit card the Order review is not updated and customers don’t pay the surcharge at all.

I did try to check with Luma theme, and see that PayPal works fine with 3% surcharge, however it was not applied for Credit Cart, as indicated in this video: https://www.dropbox.com/s/pbwcqdrvfi9x5h2/2018-12-03_08-44-39.MP4?dl=0

Actually, our Megamall theme does not affect the core checkout functionality. As you can see in the checkout_index_index.xml of our theme, it simply moves the logo element only: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9tccuts912ptuao/2018-12-03_10-10-54.png?dl=0
We did try to provide you help as far as possible, however, this issue still refers to Aheadworks checkout and Fooman surcharge functionality. Please ask for further help from those extension providers.
