Everything is renamed _migrated

So once migrated all the stores, categories etc are called “_migrated” well the original info with that at the end. Is it ok to rename to not have the _migrated at the end and/or have it not add that during the migration process?

Yes, After you finished data migration you can rename to remove the string ‘_migrated’ in backend of M2.
