Hi,
I have a fresh Magento install, I’ve then installed JMBasetheme and the Gem theme.
I’ve then created a simple test product and I get the following error when trying to view it…
Fatal error: Call to a member function getFile() on a non-object in /home/countryc/public_html/app/design/frontend/gem/default/template/catalog/product/view/media.phtml on line 66
It looks correct in the search results

If you could tell me what I’ve done wrong I would appreciate it.

It would appear that the error occurs when I exclude an image. So how do I go about excluding images from the media gallery on the product view page, but still allow them to be the base image or small image or thumbnail? I dont have this problem on another site which is using the Crafts template.

Hello! I’ve got exactly the same problem with Gem theme.

@solitaire: I have create a back-up and edited the file at /app/design/frontend/gem/default/template/catalog/product/view/media.phtml
and the issue as you said was solved: http://solitaireengagement.com.au/settings/paried-hearts-18k.html
