Hi Sven van laar,
 
It’s pity that the installation via Composer is not available at present. 
 
Kindly follow our standard installation option mentioned in our userguide here. Our users have been using the UB Mega Menu module successfully though. In case you have any technical question when using our products, please get back to us here, we will work closely with you.
