How to add articles to frontpage JM Lead

Hi there
So we got JM Lead because it seemed so perfect for what we needed, with one major issue. Ironically enough, we DO want to have frontpage articles. I was hoping it was just a setting I could modify, but haven’t been able to figure it out. Could someone please let me know how to add articles to the frontpage on the JM lead template? We don’t need the products there at all.
