How to connect to source server

I get this error: “Couldn’t connected to Magento 1 database: Host ‘176.74.254.136’ is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server” in the Migrate Databases section.
How to solve?

I've been playing around with enabling remote connections on both servers, but can't get it right...I get this error now: "Couldn't connected to Magento 1 database: Can't connect to MySQL server on '141.138.203.22' (110)"

Hi dreamsites,

I get this error: “Couldn’t connected to Magento 1 database: Host ‘176.74.254.136’ is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server” in the Migrate Databases section.

It seems MySQL server with IP: 176.74.254.136 has not allow remote connect from your Magento 2 server.
If the database of your Magento 1 is not the same server with your Magento 2 server. Let’s contact your system admin or VPS provider to enable remote connect to MySQL at server of your Magento 1.
Regards,
Mall.

Hi dreamsites,

I’ve been playing around with enabling remote connections on both servers, but can’t get it right…I get this error now: “Couldn’t connected to Magento 1 database: Can’t connect to MySQL server on ‘141.138.203.22’ (110)”

Let’s re-check your databases information and contact to your server provider to get helps for that.
Regards,
Mall.
