Hi guys I am trying to test the program on my magento install, using 1.9.3.1 to 2.1.5 using the light version, and when I go to setup the program after install,
This is a bitnami stack i am working also.
I am getting this error as I am trying to connect to the database ( which are both local)
Error 500
mysqli_connect(): php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known
Any assistance will be appreciated.

Thanks for spending time working with our Lite version.
It’s pity that the Lite version is available for Magento CE 2.0.7 only. This version is mainly for testing purpose, due to some limitations:
- It is not ready for NGINX web server
- Your Magento 2.0.7 must be a fresh installation
- And it comes with limited feature sets, compared to our Pro version.

Hi David,
Our migration tool allows the source and destination databases to be from different MySQL servers.
If you have a separate database host, you must enable a remote MySQL database connection to your Magento 1 database. Anyway, for the best performance especially in case of big data, the source and destination databases on the same MySQL server is recommended.
