I can make changes on the "JM Basetheme" control panel but none of those changes save because I nothing happens when I press "Save Config"….i.e., nothing posts.

Please change profiles folder’s chmod to 777
I just deployed the full version of jm Haga on my site and did an import -- export of my products into the full jm HAGA zip. That fixed the issue so all is well now.
