I am trying to figure why I am getting this error.
Code:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in /home/jodi/public_html/app/design/frontend/default/jm_morganite_new/template/joomlart/jmproducts/list.phtml on line 1
I recently moved my friend’s site over to my server. I did a fresh Magento install, and moved the correct folders etc and did mysql import. Everything seems to be working fine except for JM ProductList.
Any ideas why I am receiving this error message?
I tried to install all of the module’s files again but that still did not make a difference. I also flushed the caches and that did nothing.

Just an FYI- I managed to get it working after about 4 or 5 re-installs. Do I know why? No. LOL

is the problem solved now?
It was fixed but it happened again after I had to install it again after some paypal problems. I didn’t see your reply til now after I just submitted a ‘critical’ ticket. In that ticket I gave my admin credentials on the ticket because I turned off the JM Product List so people can at least read the frontpage. You have to go into the back end and enable it to see the error.
Do you think it is a database issue? or a Permissions issue?
The error says it is with list.phtml on line 1, so what is on line 1?

Hi Peter Matra!
Welcome back to Joomlart. Sorry for replying you late, but our support system was offline last night.
For some reasons, the file list.phtml has merged all code to one line. There are some comment lines in that file so the error will appear back if file is replaced.
I have fixed the problem for you. Now it is working well.
