As our current needs, a slide banner should at least have 2 sizes, one for desktop and one for mobile which we are displaying by picture sourceset that improve alot of user experiences on mobile. Are you guys going to update it?
I suggest it could be add and configurable as same as your allowed to config the viewports and number of slide items for each.

Please note that, our extension uses JS library Owl-carosel: http://www.jqueryscript.net/demo/Powerful-Customizable-jQuery-Carousel-Slider-OWL-Carousel/demos/one.html And as you see in our demo, all slides are automatically responsive on multiple devices.
allowed to config the viewports and number of slide items for each….
That setting was supported by our extension, please take a look at our userguide here.
