Had a plan to purchase bookshop theme and i get to that it is compatible for 1.7 and 1.8 , actually am planning to work with magento 2.x, so then bookshop theme would be compatible for 2.x? or else i should move on with some other themes of my own choice?

Thanks for your interest in our product.
We’re now working on UB Bookshop theme for Magento 2 (Here you can take a look at work-in-progress demo). Actually, it is a separated theme, compared to (Magento 1) Bookshop theme. So, you will need separated purchase.
PS. The price scheme for the UB Bookshop theme will be similar to our existing Magento 2 themes, like Crafts 2.0.

How long will take for you guys to deliver a complete bookshop theme in magento 2.0 ?
We expect to have it ready within this month, however the schedule might be delayed. As the Magento 1.9.3 and Magento 2.1.2 have just been released, so it will take us pretty much time for this compatibility update to our current products.

Thanks, anyhow we plan to start our bookstore in the mid of november, so we have to choose someother theme right?
I wish to give you a firm date for the release of our UB Bookshop theme, yet it’s hard for my team now.
