1. I have migrated from 1.9.2.2 tot 2.3.0 including categories and products. And also followed the steps after the migrating (reindex / clean).
The categories are named: ‘<name> Migrated. Because there are not visible on the main page, I tried to move them to <Default>. When moving one of the categories I get an error of links:
The value specified in the URL Key field would generate a URL that already exists.
2. Some moved categories are now in <Default> and I see them on the homepage. But none of the products in these categories are shown. When I make a new product it is not shown but nog the current products?
3. Also when I try to change a current product in the backend it is not possible to Save the Product: The stock item was unable to be saved. Please try again.
Hope you can help me.
Kind regards, Arjen

Issue number 3 looks it has something to do with the product being in multiple websites. If I mark the product only in 'Product in Website > Default' I can save the product. If i mark multiple websites in 'Product in Website' it won't save.

Hi there,
Let’s provide me information about your instance:
+ Admin credentials and URL to back-end
+ SSH credentials and path to M2 folder
I will help to check further issues you mentioned and get back you then.
Regards,
Mall.
Hi Mall,
I’ve send you a private message with the credential.
Kind regards, Arjen
Hi Arjen,
The categories are named: ‘<name> Migrated. Because there are not visible on the main page, I tried to move them to <Default>. When moving one of the categories I get an error of links:
The value specified in the URL Key field would generate a URL that already exists.
You shouldn’t do that. To show the migrated root category and associated categories, you must assign this root category for the current default Store of the default website. You can do this in the Stores management in your M2 back-end.
2. Some moved categories are now in <Default> and I see them on the homepage. But none of the products in these categories are shown. When I make a new product it is not shown but nog the current products?
That relates to Magento’s functions only and you shouldn’t move the categories as explained above.
3. Also when I try to change a current product in the backend it is not possible to Save the Product: The stock item was unable to be saved. Please try again.
Hope you can help me.
In this case, I think you should reset and re-do data migration in all steps of our migration tool. And don’t move the categories as you did.

Hi Mall,
I have reinstalled Magento 4 (clean install) and Migrated again. The issues with the categories are solved. But the issue with the products remain. No products are visible on the site (because the are not in Default Website). But if I want to change that or change any other parameter of the products I get an error:
The stock item was unable to be saved. Please try again.
What can be wrong with the products migration?
Kind regards, Arjen
Hi there,
The stock item was unable to be saved. Please try again.
For each migrated website, lets open it and click to save button. And re-check the issue you mentioned. If the issue still persists, lets provide information about your current M2 instance:
+ Admin credentials and URL to back-end
+ SSH credentials and path to M2 folder
I will help to check further and get back you then.
Regards,
Mall.
