I’m confused & sincerely sorry, but i didn’t expect such an ugly theme.
This doesn’t fit anything from any point of vue imop….
I ever been honest & said all the time when i loved your releases but here i have to admit i don’t.
I will put this on holidays
Maybe it could fit some ppl needs… but so far not mine even drunk

can you at least try to be a bit more constructive with your comment / criticism?
Look like a screwed up layout version of Larix.
Gentlemen and gentle women!
With all respect for the opinions expressed here
Where some see ‘busy’, others see ‘vitality’! I happen to like the controlled chaos of JoomlArt’s new Magento template JM Epidio. And I think the design targets a large market demographic who prefer to visually immerse themselves in more than they can possibly consume. For that reason I predict that JM Epidio will bring great success for the right store and product line.
Ok i’m gonna detail a bit
-- The graphic is not enough touched. When you try to add light effect on a button, the shape of the light doesn’t fit the one you’ve added on this template. it doesn’t look good & the overall grey grey black grey makes it really heavy to look.
-- When i switch colors, i just don’t find the rendering better. I think a good template is looking good without focusing the color, the color is just one final touch.
-- JM Product Slider -> On the demo, i just don’t see any bar to navigate the slide…
-- Footers are always looking the same…. only horizontal bar & simple lists… i know JA Team had really more creativity last years even it’s a JM start… let’s try to impose your style please & not copy copy with just some different headers.
-- If you look at header specificaly, when you look at vertical lines that cut different areas… nothing get any shadow, shape, gradient, style…. that’s only squares…lines & color… that’s too simple it lacks of taste…
-- Finally, for most of the JM template i’ve seen, i found the menu kind too heavy & for users big store, i would suggest new menus technology like the template Moxy of another joomla template creator. i won’t say the name because i’m not here to recommend anyone but just look the menu, it’s soo good. All JA & JM menu are too simple imop now.
For all these reasons, i would pay for another JM template when it will be really more worked on the graphism, really well touched, because magento has such a great powerfull technology, it’s really too bad to get a bad template on it, so, i believe in JA Team, just don’t take my criticism bad, i think that would be a shame just to keep words for me. I trust in you, do better please i know u can do. This is not good & had to be told.
Regards.
This template would benefit froma white background option, with orange aswell. I’m using Firefox but i’m sure that the ‘lightorange’ option is in fact BROWN.
Maybe my eyesight is going.
Anyone else see brown instead of orange?
I like the lightgrey demo template. Anyway I have error message on this one like
"The page you requested was not found, and we have a fine guess why.
If you typed the URL directly, please make sure the spelling is correct.
If you clicked on a link to get here, the link is outdated."
Yes please to all, concentrate on the goal of this topic.
Please share here all your opinion about the template.
About Magento & JA Releases, what would you like to see, what do you appreciate, what you don’t like, please be constructive because personaly, i took time to give details with my poor english to explain really more why i didn’t like at all this template.
In a way, this topic turned another debate, sorry, but moderators & users can fix & share their attitudes & point of vue in other topics yes as mentioned in last post.
Please dont lock it, the goal is not to make it burn but the soonest possible, to be happy again like i used to, at new template release.
Regards.
I was told that the new JM template would be best suitable for Mobile Store. I was waiting anxiously for the release of the template. But I AM SORRY to say that I am very much disappointed.
Can you redesign the JM Purity template with the features product slider, category list, and other modules
I guess the designer of the template is blind with one or two eyes
every colour option is dark..should we sell dark, bad things?
or switch to gothic stores?
it’s not the pepsi or coke question..but *some* nice friendly colour options should not be too hard to design
But I AM SORRY to say that I am very much disappointed.
I agree with the being disappointed part.
When I joined the club, first we got Larix.. which is not up to much, this has already been made clear in other threads so I wont say anything more about that.
Then we had JM Lead which is a nice template overall, but quite slow, I am working on optimising this now for a store.
Lastly we have Epidio.. which is.. errm, beyond below my expectations. the screenshot posted in the forum before it’s release looks ok, but as we now know from seeing it in action it is infact a whole other story.
I will not be renewing my membership until JA get their act together. Hope the next template release shakes things up a bit.
Also, are we not supposed to get more than one template a month in JM Club? It said when I joined "At Least One New Template per Month".. I have yet to even see an attempt an more than one.
Those are my thoughts. I’m not here to debate, i’m here to get quality templates and extensions to use on my stores.. this, has not been delivered in recent.

Can’t please all of the people all of the time

More than one template a month i don’t expect that much, but at least one really good template per month !
More details ??? Look at my friend designer http://www.agnarson.com all his psd templates for wordpress are really simple BUT so beautifull !!
Take example on it, shadows, lights & so on !
If you want a psd from him, i can command him !
I am a bit disappointed, however, I got my membership only for Sulfur and a few of the previous templates. I was kind of hoping the ladder templates would have been nice, but did not expect it. Larix was and is horrible though, and I will refrain from commenting on Epidio.
Anyways, if you do have a 3 month membership, make sure to update all your template files. Some time ago they updated all the templates to use version 1.3.2.3 of the Magento Shopping Cart. This includes Purity with a Quickstart. If I remember correctly, the original JM Purity post only had the template files.
Especially update if your membership is about to expire
I hope the templates do get better, and if so, then I will be back with more business.
Larix was and is horrible though
I always thought it was JoomlArts nicest shopping template.
i suppose the reason i started getting disappointed is that not only do i feel the design is not as good as it should be (and yes, some will always be satisfied with average or underaverage design work), but there are absolutely no new extensions released. i have not read about anyone complaining about that. the extensions are suppose to be a part of the membership.
anyways, i just wanted to express my own feelings. all in all, i am very happy with joomlarts releases for the magento shopping software. i just wish they would provide on all fronts to those who are paying for their service.
i do not want to contradict myself from the past, however, as 200 or 300 for 8 or 9 templates is defintely a bargain -- but, to get me to come back once my membership expires (renewal), there needs to be something to bring me back
oh, JA, a renewal discount would be an interesting start on trying to bring customers back with respect to the magento section.

Correct me if I’m mistaken . . . but I believe JA released their new JM Tabs extension along with this template release.

Nor is it hard to modify the template with whatever colors you want.

There’s no sign of it in the Mage extensions category. soo, you are corrected.

only partially . . . .

Is it just me or why is no one else talking about all the magento live demos being down? When can we expect these things back up its been over 24 hours now. Let me know, thanks.

Just checked the demo of epidio again, nicely improved since release JA! it’s actually usable on a real store now. Likeing the load speeds too, looks like things might be coming together again.
