I use the TravelGera template for my site http://www.cellar2door.com
Should I be trying to upgrade my magento to version 2 or will it not make any difference with this template?

Hi Jim,
The TravelGear theme remains available for Magento 1.9 only. For sports-related category, we’re working on SportsGear for Magento 2 here.
The first beta demo of SportsGear will be live this week.
Beside SportsGear, we have a few other Magento 2 themes as well, please take a look here if you’re interested in.
Hope that helps.

Hi Jim,
Moving to Magento 2 is an important question that many users asked us. Actualy, it depends on your specific requirements (you should check the readiness of specific functionalities you need in M2…), yet M2 is a strong new platform, so you should take it into consideration.
A few users have shared their case-studies when moving to Magento 2 here:
-- How Freelaunch.nl used UB Data Migration Pro to migrate 230,000 products to Magento 2
-- Winetasting.com – Migrate 382,047 customer entities to Magento 2
Hope you can find some hints from these casestudies.

Thanks An, I see that you have this service offerred “MANUAL INSTALLATION $200” It says “Get your chosen theme installed and configured by us on your existing Magento store”.
Does this mean for $200 I could get the Mago template installed onto my existing site cellar2door.com?
Another question. How much do you charge to move a magento site from one domain name to another on the same hosting platform?

Hi Jim,
I wonder you wish to use (Magento 1) Mago theme to replace your current TravelGear theme? If you prefer Mago theme, I highly recommend you consider to start with Magento 2, and with UB Mago theme (for Magento 2), as the Mago for M1 was developed long ago.
The installation service $200 helps to install a theme at your choice into your existing site. However, continuing with Magento 1 is not a good option in this case. Please note you will need to purchase the new theme separatedly (beside the Installation fee).
Regarding moving a magento site from one domain name to another on the same hosting platform, may I know more specific requirement? You simply port your current M1 site to a new M2 hosting platform without any changes?

Thanks An,
Ok so i think the best solution then is for me to purchase the mago template and then change it to how I want it and then move it to the existing domain name.
Hi Jim,
Yes, please let me know if I can help with anything else.
