Yes but what does the specific identifier need to be? For example to get the static blocks to show up at the bottom of the home page I had to call them specificly "popular-news" etc, otherwise how would magento know what block style I’m trying to install?

I understand how to add static blocks. I’ve already added several to my website. The blocks I added are the ones right above the footer.

I was able to add and customize the for blocks at the bottom to my site. To get them to show up I had to give them a specific static block identifier name, a name that was predefined by the developer of the template. I want to add the two static blocks that are located below the JM Slideshow. What is the identifier name for those two blocks. For example to get the static blocks at the bottom to show up they had to be called:

"support-center" "popular-news" "resource-link" "lastest-news"

If I didn’t call them specificly those identifiers they would not show up on the homepage.

Maybe I need to do an additional step to at the "welcome to" static box. If I view the source text of the demo jm rasite template the static block is called "ja-box-left"

Thanks!
