Template installed but not working

Hi, Have downloaded and installed as per user guides, template into exisiting Magento 1.3.2 install.

Added to configuration as per instructions but the template is not displaying AND neither are the extensions showing in Configuraton. Turned on path hints and confirm that prog is still picking up default/default instead of jm_seleni. I also disabled cache and refreshed. All folders 777 as stie in development.

Any ideas please. What can I check to see why template is being ignored and extensions not showing. All other extensions installed using Magneto connect work.
