on the product panel I don’t have the chance to add variations as the "custom options" (in italiano "opzioni personalizzate") doesn’t open anything.
I just could not work with it.

Solved:
on this Magento Version, if you work on th italian translated admin section, "custom option" simply doesn’t work. If you change language to english, you can magically insert product variations.
