When is going JM Anion upgraded to Magento 1.6?

Dear Joomlart,

I’m waiting for you to upgrade JM Anion to Magento 1.6, since I saw an article in the forum stating that it will be upgraded in less than a week. I have been waiting patiently for more than a week but I haven’t seen any information about it. Could you let me know when it will be realeased?. Thank you.

Tom,

I did check it but I couldn’t find the information about the version. Finally in the "changelog" I found the information I was looking for. Thanks for your help.

Tom,

I just tried to install JM Anion in my localhost. Installation worked fine but when trying to access the backend I’m getting a 404 error: Page not found. I tried adding index.php in the URL but I’m still getting the error. I get into the frontend fine.

I installed JM Anion twice: one with XAMPP 1.6.8 and with WAMP 2.2. I got the same problem with both.

Could you take a look at that? I’m the only one getting this error?.

Thanks,

Tomas

I don’t have Wampserver 2.2 installed yet, but in 2.0 I need to enable Curl support by going to PHP->PHP Extensions->php_curl in the Aestan tray menu.

Tom,

As far as I know you can’t install Magento unless you have curl activated. Curl is activated in both Xampp and Wamp. Magento is installed properly since I’m able to access the frontend and it looks fine. It is when I try to access the backend that I’m getting the 404 error. I didn’t change the admin path during the installation.

This is the same problem i have gotten into and posted in anoher thread, the differance is that i’m using a server running Linux not XAMPP.
I have used the ‘quickstart’ earlier and it have always worked flawless, but this 1.6 version seems corrupted or something since whole site seems to work but not the ‘/admin’ that gives a 404-error.

Gamers,

I pointed out this problem on NOV 4th 2011 and I also created a ticket. We are now at NOV 15th 2011 and I still don’t have a solution. I have been fighting via email with Joomlart’s technical team. One of them was getting the same 404 error (10 times !!!) and it is trying to help, but the DEV of this template is telling that this is a "customer issue", that in their end "everything is fine".

I’m not a rocket scientist but if I see a problem like this one, to me it’s a fact. If I see that a Joomlart technician is getting the same error 10 times, it corroborates my findings. And then if I find out that you are having the same problem, then, really, THIS 404 ADMIN ERROR PROBLEM IS A FACT, AND THE TEMPLATE IS CORRUPTED without a doubt.

Thanks
