I would like to add Indonesia language and Malaysia language to my online store. But the language files provided my Magento Community not 100% ready. I would like to put my own initiative on it. May I know which files or directories or folders should I refer to edit and modify? There are too many files inside a language folder until I don’t which is the core or correct files to edit.
Please also guide me if got additional knowledge that I should know when handling language translation in Magento.

Hi victorlai,
Firstly I think you would need to install those language packages and then if there are some miss translated texts you would need to dive into those language files to translate.
if you look at a default magento language folder of app\locale\en_US you would see that each file is for a magento extension(core or community extension)
