help installing trex + plugins etc.

hi all,

i have just started to use magento a little more and would like install trex as my development platform template.

unfortunately i am unable to find any help on installing mega menu/slideshow etc which comes with the free trex template.

as i am still learning magento i would prefer not to use the quickstart option.

any help would be much appreciated, i also appreciate that ja offer more service via the club but i would love to try before i buy with the free trex template.

Hi Mark:

Might I inquire as to why you are opposed to utilizing the quickstart installation?

I am a HUGE fan of utilizing the quickstart + sample data installation process as a starting point -- especially for those starting/trying to learn how to work with either Joomla or Magento. I explain my reasoning for such here --> http://www.joomlart.com/forums/showt…396#post402396

It really can be a great time-saver as you learn the respective content management system.
