How to remove "Shop by" on the home page

Hi,
The “Shop by” filter appeared out of nowhere on the home page of Casual theme. Even though it was not there before and I didn’t change any layout settings of home page in the admin.
How to get rid of it, so it returns to the previous layout.

By the way the Layered Navigation(Shop by) appeared on the home page after I was changing attributes in the back end

You have removed entire left navigation column including left_nav. That is not what the problem was.
If you look at original JM Casual demo theme, you will see in the left a menu that says “New arrival” and “Woman”, I want this menu to be there on the home page, without the “shop by” layered-navigation on the home page.
I the :app/design/frontend/default/jm_casual/template/catalog/navigation directory there are two files one is left.phtml which is the “shop by” and left_nav.phtml which is the homepage left navigation.
So I just want the left_nav.phtml appear on the homepage, just like it is on JM CASUAL demo theme.
