Could you please share me exactly the short description you want to remove?
I see the home page have many short descriptions I’m not sure what exactly you want.

The only short description is above the product price.
If anyone wants to disable it they have to go to system -> configuration -> JM product slider and choose no on description.

I have to admit that the support on the ubertheme section is not great at all. Ive used joomlart for many years on the magento side and joomla side, and i have never experienced this type of support.
Either way than you guys!
