I have an issue on my site with the search function, sometimes when i make a search it is just going into an infinite loop with no results.

It is not always, but sometimes it does this.

The attribute “color” (Farve) is beeing displayed wrong, can you see why it does this?
=> You have to re-config for ‘color’ attribute in back-end of your site.
To show color filter as our demo site: http://i.imgur.com/jubUrwT.png let’s do bellow steps:
Step 1:
Go to Ubertheme/Ub Shop By Configuration in back-end and setting for ‘color’ attribute as screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/A5OXrYa.png
Step 2:
Go to Catalog/Attributes/Manage Attributes and click to edit ‘Color’ attribute in back-end
and you have to setting a color image for each value of ‘color’ atrribute. See screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/ErjQnE7.png
Step 3: Clean the magento cache after your changing.
Also if it is possible i would like a slider, with max height on the attributes, as you can see i have maybe 200 brands. So the list is very long

Did you use a third-party for search function in your site?
As you see, the search function working fine in our demo site with techzone theme: http://techzone.demo.ubertheme.com/?___store=default_en
I need a closer look to detect the root of issue as you said. Let’s provide me the admin and ftp credentials of your site.

No i am not using any 3rd party extentions for the search function.
I have sent you a private message with FTP and admin info,
Important, please take backup of all files that you change! As i have made a lot of custom changes.

No i dont think i have made any changes to this, but please backup the folder and tell me where it is if you are gonna overwrite any files.

I have create a back-up and upload installed the latest version of UbShopby ext and the issue as you said was solved.

I dont have this option in my backend, to set a color image for each color, the colum is not there. I can only choose position, can you see why ?
