Can I remove the left menu from the home page & only use a mega menu?

The idea is to only have a mega menu for all product categories at the top of the home page and only have a left side bar on product list etc. pages. This may be a show stopper for us to buy this theme.

Please go to the admin -> CMS -> Pages -> Home Page -> Layout and change it to “1 column”.
