Can't type in slideshow description for each item

For some reason, it will not let me type in the “description for each item” box.
 
Any help?

i have exactly the same problem, i cannot save changed settings for this module as it demands i write something in the box.
fresh magento install, using sporty theme, SlideshowV2.v1.2.0, downloaded today.
 
any help or pointers would be welcome 🙂
