I have upgraded our dev site from 2.2.7 to 2.3.0 and when deploying the static content i got the following errors.

So it looks like there are a few issues with its compatibility with 2.3.0.
Are you able to advise when you will have an update to make it compatible with 2.3.0 because there are few known bugs in Magento that are resolved in 2.3.0.

You need to download the updated version, once i did this it was ok. -
I follow below instructions from Ziven and all worked ok.In the new theme version, we already removed this file: app\design\frontend\Ubertheme\megamall\Magento_Checkout\web\css\source\module\checkout\_tooltop.less.Thus, when you install our theme to overwrite the old version you downloaded before, such .less file still remains.So, please remove the file at: app\design\frontend\Ubertheme\megamall\Magento_Checkout\web\css\source\module\checkout\_tooltop.lessOnce done, you run the code compilation again.
