So the problem is that if i create a Conifugurable product and creat fast the simple products assigned to it everything works just fine! for both languages. BUT! if i enter any of that simple product that is assigned, and i add some Custom options to it! it will not be assigned to the configurable product anymore. Is this corect or good or i did something wrong?!
cause when in a configurable product and he selects the Red color of the product then nothing changes. But if he will select the Green color from dropdown i want a custom option to appear for instance the green color also has something related to it but with an individual SKU number so he can check it and buy it too if he wants.

I guess there somewhere is an if statement that checks if the Configurable product Itself has custom options then it will lay them out! but it does not check for Custom Options of the selected Product from the Dropdown or smth like that?

I don’t think you can achieve this with default magento feature, you would need to find a third-party magento extension out there for this purpose.

Ok here we go:
I have a configurable product that a bunch of simple products assigned to it; WHen users will choose from a custom attribute the color and the size a certain simple Product will be Added to cart depending on his selections! Plus he can add some of the custom option of this Configurable product see the images below:

Now the problem is that not all of the products from the combination of the dropdown list can have these custom options! Or not all of them! In this setup no matter what combination the user will make i mean no matter what color and size he will always be able to choose form these custom options!
So i started to create Custom Options individually in every Simple Product. Normally if i just display apart every simple product each of them will have it’s Custom Options displayed in front end. But if i assign them to their Configurable Product, they will normally disappear as simple products and only one Custom Product will appear. When aces the custom product the dropdown attributes are available, and now he picks a color and a size so it means he selected a certain Simple Product and the price Changes to that simple product But it’s custom Options are not being displayed! see the images below, i created a custom door especially for it:

No matter what attribute i choose no Custom Option appears but i created custom option for Each of the Simple product. They are still assigned everything works, the price changes but the custom options do not appear! And if i make the custom options Required! then the simple product will not be assigned anymore to the Configurable product.
Where i show the question with red it should appear there! Sherlock i ask of you if you would be so kind and give it a try of 20 minutes if you have them just to do any changes in the php maybe you make it work. Cause i think there is just a need to input smth like PHP ECHO THIS somewhere… Because he does not have it or what? I will PM you right now with root access to all files on the server i will much appreciate at least if you give it a try.

Thanks for your clarification. I am afraid it is not so simple that you display the custom options for each of simple product, you can give it try with this extension to get the feature you are seeking for.

thank you very much! it finally works! amazing! BUT!!! can not get the price to be displayed.. when i choose from the custom options it switches the price to 0.00!!! 🙁

I managed yesterday to do it, but i was sooo tired i did not post it. The documentation was not enough as they stopped it’s support 2 years ago. But i managed to make it work for Community 1.8.1; I will post in the Magento General Discussion how to do it. Thank you Sherlock!
