Configurable products are not showing on front end

Hi there,
I am having issues getting my configurable products to show on the on the front end of a site. The simple products show no problem but no configurable product is visible.
In Magento 2.0.10 they are fine, but in Magento 2.1.2 they are now showing.
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards
John G

Hi tresgol,
I can’t clone the issue as you said in my local.
I need a closer look to detect the root of issue as you said. Let’s provide me the admin and root SSH credentials of your Magento 2.
I will check further and help you out.
Regards,
Mall.

Hi

If you go to “New Arrivals” on both no products will come up on the v2 site but do on v4.

I have re-index your data and clean the Magento cache and it showing in your v2:
http://i.prntscr.com/47799d8923e4444ba72b4ebf2998bb7e.png
But when view the product, i see this issue:

Configurable product "IL1612269T" does not have sub-products

That issue comes from some special changing from Magento 2.1.x. To solve that, please download the latest v3.0.2 of our tool.
And install upgrade our tool to your working and kindly reset all steps and restart data migration in all steps by our guide in the readme.txt file.
And after you done with all steps as our guide with our tool please do more extra step as this video guide:

And then tell me know how it goes.
Regards,
Mall.

 Hi tresgol,

That is a issue of Magento 2 core with cases of your data. You can view this:
https://github.com/magento/magento2/issues/5762
https://community.magento.com/t5/Admin-Configuration-Questions/Configurable-product-error/td-p/34217
But after i have enabled bellow setting in back-end of your site and the issue was solved:
http://i.prntscr.com/ebf513ed22744ad98723c1c9b8e5810a.png
And then i have reindex your data and clean the Magento 2 cache.
And your catalog pages working fine as this:

Please have a look again.

 HI Mall
Thank you for all your help, I have managed to set up another new subdomain, followed all the steps from all the information you have provided and it appears to finally be working.

Hi Mall
The issue I am having with this solution now is even if the product is listed as “Out Of Stock” it is still visible and able to be selected on the front end. It does come up with an out of stock message but I am not happy with that solution.
If I create a product in the back end (not imported) it works fine. I am only having issues with imported products using the Migration Pro Tool
Is there a better fix for this issue?

Hi tresgol,

Is there a better fix for this issue?

But that is new working rules of the Magento 2 with your old products data which migrated from Magento 1.
The root issue related to qty of old products. In default rules of Magento 2, it auto out of stock after reindex data if product’s qty is zero.
And it maybe is a issue of the Magento 2 with your context, you should view this post:
https://github.com/magento/magento2/issues/6422
Please have a look!
Regards,
Mall.
