We wonder if you had chance to take a look at our tutorial video at: https://youtu.be/R4UBLe2kf-I . It will walk you through all steps using UB Data Migration Pro to migrate data from M1 to M2. You will see setting form that allows you to insert source and destination databases.
It’s common that our users set up a staging server where they migrate data from M1 to this staging instance. Once they verify all migrated data is ready for use, they will move to the official site.
We have UB Data Migration Lite version, however it uses old codebase and mainly for testing purpose only. If you want to give it a try, please note a few drawbacks of the Lite version:
-- It is not ready for NGINX web server
-- It is available for Magento 2.0.7 only and your Magento 2.0.7 must be a fresh installation
-- And it comes with limited feature sets, compared to our Pro version.

I have an another doubts in the data migration m1 to m2 ...
Mageno1-> i installed some modules like pdf extension, custom tabs of product page. So im try to migrate data m1 to m2 those extension attributes also move to m2 database ?? Any problem will occur withhout extension modules (only Attributes)…
