I am new with JM. And i started to work with it recently. I got a question, and I hope someone could help me.
i am workin with easyshop template currently. On the web site i need to be able to have diferents "users" for the site administrator. So i can have the sale manager, the boss, and others sections of the store to enter the site.
Yet, i would like to limit what each user can access, or see in the administrator section. Like saying, i wasnt the sale manager to have access only to the online store, and productos, and want the boss to have access to the retail info, and so on.
Can these be done?

Hi jrubi,
Yes I think these can be done,
In magento it has a concept name Role (can be seen as a user group) and users could be assigned to Roles, In your back-end you can navigate to System >> Permissions >> Roles , go to edit a role (you can also create a new one) at the Role Resources section you can assign those back-end resources (sections in the back-end) the users belong to that Role is able to access.
Thanks, i will check it out. i will tell later on if these solved my question.
So, also, i could make different user, and give them a role… so that the user have the access and be ruled by the role… That what you wwere implying.. right.
yeah mate, that’s what I meant you should try it
