Gem theme JMSlideshow – Image height stretched

In the quickstart package of the gem theme the dimensions of the slideshow image was 1920×640. I applied slideshow images with the exact size but the images are appearing stretched by height on almost all devices except for tablets and mobiles. The slider loses the aspect ratio on many devices
check the website in various sizes here, especially in macbook dimensions.

What can be done to fix this? Can’t we just put width for the slider to be 100% and assign height as auto? Please help as this slider doesn’t professional on my website.

No the issue still exist. I reduced the default width of the slideshow form 1920 to 1450 to reduce the height distortion but still on devices above Tablets, the height is getting a little distorted and of devices like iMac the width is getting distorted to (after setting the width to 1450)
Please look into this issue as soon as possible, I even tried changing the jmslideshow with some other RESPONSIVE Slideshow by changing the identifier of the jmslideshow in homepage layout XML but the slideshow just won’t appear in that page only (I create a static block of that 3rd party slideshow).

Please help me with a solution of either how can I replace the slideshow…

@Jeancarlos,
I am sorry for not getting your points. It would be awesome if you can possibly include URL of your site and a screenshot with detailed explanation. I am happy to help you out.
Best Regard,
Ziven.
