Help needed in setting up tax properly

I’m really struggling to get the tax rules setup for my website.

It is a UK based website so all EU countries will need to show the tax cost in the invoice only. Not on the frontend.

I have setup the tax rules for all of the EU countries.

The selling price in the catalog includes tax already and I believe I have setup this properly.

I have prices "including tax" setup in the system/configurationsales/tax setting.

It all seems to work fine until someone chooses a non-eu country upon when the priceshown in the cart then deducts the 20% tax and lowers the selling price.

Where am I going wrong?

Can anyone please help?

Many thanks
George

Hi tweedsolutions.

I will take a look at the issue for you, just tell me a product in particular and the steps I need to take

Hi Sherlock,

The site is live.

If you allocate the tax class "VAT Standard" to a jacket, say Drifter -- Vintage Brown Steerhide and look at the catalog price for this jacket it will have deducted the VAT of 20% and will now show

oh tweedsolutions, I checked again and see that this is set by default by magento, you did nothing wrong, magento would show the price including tax if the tax has been set, you can post a question to the magento forum here to get more advise on this matter
