How to disable mega menu for one store view?

Hello,

I have multi-store Magento and I want to disable mega menu for one store. But there is no setting into backend to disable it for one store. When I installed this extension, It auto blank the default menu of both the stores. Could you please suggest how to manage it so that I can apply it for one store and disable for another?

Thank you!

Hi There,
You can follow steps below to configure the UB Mega Menu for a specific store view.

Go to Admin -> Content -> UB Mega Menu -> Manager Menu -> and click Edit as per this screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/rgab7tfr6lv1pcw/2018-10-11_08-26-22.png?dl=0 -> Store View, then unselect the store you want to disable, for example: https://www.dropbox.com/s/h5yp1q85uy92r9s/2018-10-11_08-28-03.png?dl=0 (the mega menu will be disabled on the French store view).
Hope that helps.

Best Regards,
Ziven.

No, it doesn’t. whatever we choose, it hides the default menu from all the store views. I have checked the code and I found that ub_mega_menu.js hiding default top menu of all store views.

Hi Nik,

No, it doesn’t. whatever we choose, it hides the default menu from all the store views. I have checked the code and I found that ub_mega_menu.js hiding default top menu of all store views.

We applied a tweak to hide the default menu on Magento 2.2.5 since there appeared a conflict with the changes in the new Magento core.
Please help to provide the following info, I will debug further and help you out.

  • Admin URL and admin credentials of your M2 instance
  • SSH credentials
  • Let me know the path to your web root folder

Best Regards,
Ziven

I am wondering if the original menu can be activated on our Spanish site. I followed your steps above to remove our English version of the UberMenu from our Spanish site, but I now have no navigation. We want to use the magento native menu until we can develop a version in Spanish.

Hi Jay,

I need to take a closer look into the configuration of your UB Mega Menu.
Please submit a new ticket and provide me the admin credentials of your M2 instance. I will check and get back to you then.
PS. Make sure you submit a new private ticket, then you’re safe to provide us your site info. Only you and our technical team can access.

Best Regards,
Ziven.
