I just subscribed as first time on magento club and Im totally new on this, even I have some experience on Joomla, specially Joomlart products and processes.
Can someone please give a clue on how can I download and install the Spanish language pack to a new magento store?
Im using JM Mozanis.
Also, when trying to download the spanis lp, there where some questions about the version of magento Im using, how can I validate that?

- 1. Download the desired translation thru Magento connect via admin.
- 2. Once installed Go to: System -> Manage Stores -> Create store view. Enter the data and save.
- 3. Now go to: Configuration -> Current Configuration Scope (Select your language from the dropdown) and on the right side under “Locale options” choose the desired language.
Thanks, but seems like Im missing something here, I see no option for dowload it, when trying to apply the connect key for the desired package, i get the error as the host can not be found.

Hello guys!
I finally was able to install Spanish Language Pack, using the Magento Connect, but there are a few work arrounds you have to consider.
1 if the package is on "beta" state, its on your own risk to install it, also, you need to set up, on Magento Connect settings, that your site can accept beta versions..
2 check the version of Magento Connect manager, since, on my site, it said it was 1.6xxx but did not copy the package "Key", so I changed to Magento Connect 2.xxxx and it works!
so, there is always ways to prevent your site go to crash, and thats making a backup before, or, try all upgrades and changes on a sandbox Magento intallation..
