I have magento 1.6.0 I used the example quick-start. When I update an image, the field turns red and upload the files are not imported.
I don’t understand what’s going on?
I downloaded the file prototype1.6, But it did not work.
What can I do?

This is a Prototype.js Version issue. this is an Issue with Magento latest version.
Go to this File: js\prototype\prototype.js
if this file has 1.7 version of prototype. Please downgrade it to 1.6.3
This will fix the issue.
