Hi,
I recently purchased JM casual theme for my developer to work with and to install.
He has recently come back stating that my Magento is 1.6 and this theme is for 1.7 and cannot be installed. In this regard what are my options? can this theme be available in 1.6 or how difficult is it to upgrade my 1.6 Magento to 1.7?
I do really like this theme and really want to utilize it.
Appreciate your help.

Thanks for purchased my product. About upgrade magento 1.6 -> 1.7 i think very hard. You will need one person with expert many year about magento. Why you don’t try use services from us? http://www.ubertheme.com/magento-custom-services/ with “Upgrade magento core”.

As our review, your current system using very old magento core, it is the best idea to upgrade because there are many security issues were fixed and new features were updated. However the upgrade will take time, we need to implement the steps below:
1.Upgrade mangeto core : it takes 4 hours
2.Manual installation our theme on your store : it take at least 10 hours
Could you please let us know which version of latest magento core will compatible with your third party extensions? We offer a limited support on upgrading third party extensions so that checking the third party compability is very important.

Yotpo is compatible with (1.4, 1.4.1.1, 1.4.2, 1.5, 1.6, 1.6.1, 1.6.2.0, 1.7, 1.8)
Paymate (fontis) works on (Magento CE1.3.x, CE1.4.x, CE1.5.x, CE1.6.x, EE1.6.x, EE1.7.x, EE1.8.x, EE1.9.x, EE1.10.x, EE1.11.x)
Aheadworks ActivityStream works on 1.6 and above (so no issues)
