JA T3 Framework & K2 Component how do these work together

Hello,

I am working with the JA University Template and noticed a conflict with the T3 Framework and the K2 extension.

How exactly do these two extensions work together? Does the T3 Framework need to be modified to allow users to add items to the front end using K2? Also, what needs to be fixed to allow K2 users to use the links under the user account module with the T3 framework?

In K2, I modified the settings to allow an "Administrator" group to add/edit items on the frontend. I assigned my user account to the Administrator group and tried to add an item on the frontend. When Selecting "Add Item" or any other link, such as "Forgot your Password?," "Forgot your username?" or "Create an account" the following message appears:

No input file specified.

I tried using different the SEF settings in Joomla and in K2 but still encounter the issue.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Hello,

Usually there’s nothing in need of modification other than maybe CSS. Is there any way we can see your live url ? What you describe sounds more like a JS conflict or something like that.

I came across this site, which offered a solution to my problem: http://joomla-tips.org/joomla-troubl…n-godaddy.html. It was the htaccess file that was causing the issue. You were correct in that no modification to the T3 Framework or to K2 was required.

Thanks for the help.
