Hello. I was testing the payment section of my website, and I received an error to my primary email account saying why the payment did not go through.
The error is:
SQLSTATE[42S22]: Column not found: 1054 Unknown column ‘downloadable_link_purchased.order_item_id’ in ‘where clause’
The only thing I have done with this template thus far is added items. Can someone please tell me why I am getting this error and why payments are not being processed?
My website is http://www.photospecimages.com
The payment section I am testing is PayPal.

I must add that I get this problem when I try any of the payment options presented at checkout except for ‘Google Checkout.’ At this point, I am not even sure if Google Checkout will work or not, but it is not possible to make payment with anything else.
The exact error I am receiving when trying to process payment in the shopping cart is:
"There was an error processing your order. Please contact us or try again later."
I just finished installing Magento without the Sulfur template nor the Quickstart you provided. I did a clean installation on my WAMP localhost and I am able to checkout and complete the checkout process including payment.
The problem has something to do with the sample data and your template. I have not tested installing your template by itself without any sample data or the quickstart, but at this point I need someone to assist me in fixing this problem. Please send me a message and I will provide JA Support with my server information. I am unfortunately not able to continue with my site development until this problem is resolved.
Thanks
Since no one replied, I unfortunately went ahead and recreated my site.
Should the Quickstarts never be used? I read in another thread somewhere here that the reason for the problem is a conflict between the sample data and the Magento Software.
I have the same problem. Please let me know the solution.
hello chewhoe, unfortunately i have not found a suitable solutions for this. the only resolution i have found that completely fixes this problem is to download the latest version of magento, then install the template, modules, etc separate. when you do a fresh install, make sure to not install the sample data. from what i have researched, this problem is caused by some kind of conflict between the sample data in the database and the script, magento itself.
if you do a fresh installation, one without the quickstart, then you should be in business.
