Hi,
there is an issue with widgets in the template. I’ve just checked and try to create a widget with jm_selemi theme and it does not get saved (but with any other theme it’s ok no problems!). The installation is based on quickstart without any modification.
So it’s, without any doubt a theme/design package problem.
Could you please check this ?

I have checked and seen that creating widgets feature is still working well in JM seleni. I have created a ticket for you KNO-797-82987. Please could you provide us the login information (Both admin and FTP account) to your site. I will check the problem for you.

This is a bug of magento. When use widget please change jm_seleni from app and skin directory to jmseleni. You could save the widget.
