Currently I have an older version of Magento installed with JM Tube. What is the easiest way to update Magento and the template to the new versions without losing all the products I have added? I have also added a few products with custom options will this effect the transfer?

You can download each file separately then upload to overwrite some folders and files.
Firstly, download Magento ver. 1.4.1.1 http://www.magentocommerce.com/download and JM Tube ver. 1.1.4 http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downl…do=file&id=456 then extract them somewhere.
1. Magento:
upload folders: magento\js, magento\lib and all folders in magento\app without etc folder
2. JM Tube:
upload all folders: app, skin
Importand: Remember to backup all folders which you will overwrite before re-upload
