I saw in the You Tube Video on how to migrate from Magento 1 to Magento 2 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4UBLe2kf-I&feature=youtu.be) about 1:16 time frame. I noticed that it requires access to a terminal interface. Is that something we would need to acquire before purchasing this app in order to use the app?

A terminal is a common tool when installing and working with Magento itself. You can learn more about it via Magento devdocs here:
