Out of box in your demo, and my own installation, I discover the following directly are returning 403 code, can you fix that and tell us why it is happening? Is there any particular permission you need for this folder? I have it configured 755 by default and I am using apache SuExec so I should not have this permission issue, but it shows in the webpagetest.org.
Pleaes advise

Hi mate,
I have no ideal why you need to fix this but i think you can try to change it to 777 that I think would help.
I don’t think changing it to 777 in production is wise choice. This issue failed on site performance testing.
Hi mate,
I have no ideal of what we should do in this case ๐ Did you contact the hosting provider to get an advise ?
adding an empty index.html will fix this issue, please adjust the template accordingly. /skin//frontend/default/jm_crafts/wavethemes/jmbasetheme/profiles/default/images/
I put a blank index.html in /skin/frontend/default/jm_crafts/wavethemes/jmbasetheme/profiles/default/images but that did not solve my problem. Any ideas?
like this?
<html/>
yes i put in index.html <html><html/>
