Thanks for reporting the issue. We’ve added it to our backlog to get it fixed. 

/ubthemehelper/config/edit/section/shopping_cart/ the link that should activate the settings Shopping cart goes to settings Cross sell products

Could you explain in further details on this suggestion? 

/ubthemehelper/config/edit/section/contact_us/ — same sort issue here, phone details go to email details / email details to phone

For a quick workaround, you can open the file: app\design\frontend\Ubertheme\bookshop\Magento_Contact\templates\info.phtml
and edit as per the sorting of /ubthemehelper/config/edit/section/contact_us. This has been added to our backlog for fixing as well. 

+ is it possible to deselect the option no fax details are available on the frontend.

Please go to the file: app\design\frontend\Ubertheme\bookshop\Magento_Contact\templates\info.phtml, remove the line 45 that refers to the Fax details.

I’d like to clarify more details below: 
 

1. the fonts in mega menu and elsewhere are still te same, what is meant with the feature Typography, what is meant Primary Font Library + Heading Font Library ? How far reaches the Typography feature actually, because Primary + Heading Font library suggests an overall solution.

 
Primary Font Library: this setting refers to the Body content of the whole site. 
Heading Font Library: allows to change all Heading, title, block title, widget title
We will update our documentation further regarding this section.

It’s true that we have missed this when upgrading to the latest UB Mega Menu version. We will have this fixed soon. 
 

2. Go to Content / Elements / Pages, here are no Google Fonts accessible while in Typography Google Fonts is active. Which font library is available here and how is this library connected with Typography.

We allow to configure font in ThemeHelper -> Typography only. At present, Google Fonts is loaded on the frontend for the whole site. We will improve this section further in the coming update. 
 

Is there any connection with Google Fonts and standard Magento fonts, how is that related to eachother.

 
a. Google font enables to easily change the font without changing the source code. 
b. Magento font refers to the font we built as per the theme’s original design for the demo purpose. The Google font is more for the customization purpose at your end. 
 

The same questions arise with Blocks, Widgets and the other Ubertheme extension installed with the theme.

The title of block/widget/extensions from Ubertheme will apply the “Heading” font.

Yes, the update plan for our UB Theme Helper is already in place, yet it takes us longer time than expected due to high workload at present. We will work closely with you to resolve any issue of our product you might have during your development process though. 
Regarding this issue: 

As a test for colors I changed with Helper the color Footer Link Hover Color and redeployed content + reflushed cache, nothing changed with the color. So, I regard this as bug as well. Can you reply if this is a bug or missed we something in the Helper cms.

Please help to provide me FTP, SSH, Admin credentials of your M2 instance, I will check and help you out. 
We made a recent changes to package the latest UB Theme Helper into each theme, instead of providing a separate package like before. As mentioned above, we will work with you on case by case basis if you run across any unexpected issue.

Question: is this a conflicting issue with page ID 7 and Ubertheme related or only Magento multistore related

Upon what I have checked, the case you reported does not relate to our UB ThemeHelper.

Hi Kurtz,
I tried to check and see that all your changes were not applied to the folder: /srv/magento/app/design/frontend/Ubertheme/bookshop_amsterdamseboeken/web/css/source/variables 
That’s the root of issue. I tried to change the permission of such folder, however I could not change via SSH using the user: www-data.
Please check the folder permission again at your end. If the issue still persists, please grant me SSH with the root permission so that I can debug further.

I have checked further in your instance and see the root issue was because you have a special character in the name of the custom theme. Example: Ubertheme/bookshop_amsterdamseboeken 
The name of the theme has special underscore ‘_’ which is a special case of theme naming.
(http://devdocs.magento.com/guides/v2.1/frontend-dev-guide/themes/theme-create.html)
To handle for that case, I have to added some tweak code in the file:
app/code/Ubertheme/UbThemeHelper/Controller/Adminhtml/Config/Save.php of our module. And the issue was solved.
Please continue with necessary settings for your theme. And re-deploy the static files of your site after completing settings.
And let me know how it goes then.

Hi Kurtz,

Question: wich folders/files in the var folder are exclusively redeployed for use by the Ubertheme-theme, so we can finetune the redeployment script.

You could specify all needed folders to delete by running the commands below:
rm -rf var/view_preprocessed/ var/cache/ var/var/cache/
rm -rf pub/static/frontend/Ubertheme/
php -f bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy --theme Ubertheme/[theme_name]

in the command line rm -rf var/view_preprocessed/ var/cache/ var/var/cache/ it is not possible to place the directory var/var/cache/

Yeah, that is right.
My apology, you could exclude the none-existing folder var/var/cache/
And the correct command is: rm -rf var/view_preprocessed/ var/cache/

 we try to execute the new Mag security scan tool — https://magento.com/security/best-practices/5-immediate-actions-protect-against-brute-force-attacks
Therefore it is necessary to add code to: content / design / config / ub bookshop / action-edit / html head / scripts and style sheets
The window ‘scripts and style sheets’ is accessible but after Save config the code details are not saved. 
Question: any idea and solution for what happens ?

If this is the case, it refers to the issue of Magento core though.
