Cannot remove Mozanis's color navigation and edit tabs

Edited ja_vars.php as described in this post to remove color from navigation, but it did not work.

I also edited the demo tab titles in the static block area, but the new tab titles are not showing. It is not clear how to create new tabs or edit the demo ones. Can you help?

Things are fixed now -- you missed this code in ja_vars.php

Code:

$_params->set('usertool_color', 0); //0: disable, 4: show colors tools
