What code do I need to add or change to display the JM Slideshow when using mobile view. For both portrait and landscape.
Please confirm that these are the two files I need to edit. IF not please let me know the correct files to edit.
public_html/skin/frontend/default/jm_book/css/layout-mobile.css
public_html/skin/frontend/default/jm_book/css/layout-mobile-portrait.css
I need to now the exact code to change or add so that the slideshow displays at the top of the page.

About two files you post it correct.
public_html/skin/frontend/default/jm_book/css/layout-mobile.css <-- This file for landscape view
public_html/skin/frontend/default/jm_book/css/layout-mobile-portrait.css <-- This file for portrait view.

I deleted “display: none” from the following lines:
#jm-tops1 .block-slideshow{
}
The slideshow displays, but the slideshow width stretches beyond the border of the screen. What setting do I change or what do I add and where do I add it to get the slideshow to fit the width of the screen, and not go beyond it?

Hi Paul,
We do not support show slideshow in mobile view. that why we are hidden it. If you want to show and make nicer please hire someone to make it. Sorry, i can’t help you in this task. It is customize and out of support from us. Hope you understand.

I understand.
However, I notice that the Slideshow is enabled and working very well on the Magento 2 version of the JM Bookshop demo.
So does this work by design for Magento 2?
And is it supported by you for Magento 2?
I am asking, because we will be moving to Magento 2 next week, and I wonder what is the best way to go here.
1. Stick with JM Bookshop for Magento 1.7+ and run it on Magento 2.
2. Change to JM Bookshop for Magento 2. If we do change, is the new JM Bookshop for Magento 2 reliable enough for use right now? And will you help us fix any glitches?
Any advice is appreciated.

Hi Paul,
I’d like to clarify that JM Bookshop theme and extensions (including Slideshow) you’re using are used for Magento 1 only, and can not be used for Magento 2.
We developed a new UB Bookshop theme for Magento 2 which is actually a different theme, compared with the Magento 1 theme JM Bookshop you’re using. If you consider using this theme for Magento 2, you can learn more about this theme at https://www.ubertheme.com/magento-themes/ub-bookshop.
For both Magento 1 and Magento 2 theme, our standard support can cover the bugs/issues related due to our products only. Customization should be handled at your end.
